Our caregivers don’t just clock in and out…they become part of our residents' lives. They share stories, celebrate milestones, comfort during hard days, and bring joy to everyday moments. Many of our team members have been with us for 10 years or more, and that’s no accident. We’ve built a home — not just for our residents, but for our staff, too.

"Over the past years working in healthcare, particularly at Angels Garden, I have experienced a journey that has shaped not only my professional life but also who I am as a person. When I first started working at Angels Garden I was motivated by a desire to help others, but I quickly learned that working in healthcare is much more than treating illness or performing clinical tasks. It is about compassion, patience, empathy, and being present for people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.
Throughout these years, I have cared for patients from different backgrounds, each with their own stories, struggles, and hopes. Many of these encounters have left a lasting impact on me. Some moments brought joy and fulfillment, such as seeing a patient recover or hearing words of gratitude from a family. Other moments were difficult, including loss, unexpected outcomes, and emotional challenges that tested my strength and resilience. These experiences taught me how to remain compassionate while developing the emotional strength needed to continue serving. Through it all, I discovered that growth comes from being open to change and committed to lifelong learning.
Looking back, one of the most meaningful parts of my journey has been sharing knowledge gained through experience. I have learned a lot from Ms. Tanie, who personally trained me, and also from other colleagues whom I have crossed paths with. I feel blessed that I can share my knowledge with others, and watching them grow in confidence and skill has been as rewarding for my work.
After working so many years at Angels Garden, I realize that healthcare has taught me far more than clinical knowledge. It has taught me humility, resilience, teamwork, gratitude, and the importance of human connection. While the journey has not always been easy, it has been deeply meaningful, and I am proud of the difference I have been able to make in the lives of others as well as the person I have become through this profession."
